StatWheels began with an idea for a car comparer built around personal priorities. The early versions focused on Toyota and Honda. The project grew to cover manufacturers and model families across Canada, from hybrids and electric cars to SUVs, trucks and minivans.

The name, visual design and experience evolved through repeated experimentation. Some ideas stayed; others made way for simpler navigation and clearer comparisons. Connecting the StatWheels domain brought that developing idea to its own place on the web.
